The aesthetic domain comprises art, literature, theatre, dance, film, and music- and media-based elites including new online influencers, the world of fashion and other forms of design, and architects. We look at how aesthetic power is wielded across the continent, in elite performance and influence, and at how global perceptions of Africa might be changing through these elites.
