The economic domain focuses on economic and business elites, those who set and influence economic policy as technocrats and policymakers or as business leaders and entrepreneurs. This domain explores the ways in which recent changes in the economic sector across the continent challenge old narratives of dependency and underdevelopment. We are interested, too, in what space there is for women to succeed and thrive in business.
