Ugandan opposition leader Kizza Besigye was abducted while in Nairobi for a book launch. Besigye and fellow opposition politician Hajj Lutale Kamulegeya are being held in Kampala awaiting military trial. Both men are members of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC). Kenya claims to be investigating how Besigye was abducted on its soil, while human rights groups have accused the government of collaborating with Museveni’s dictatorship.
