Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have agreed to a new peace-monitoring mechanism to identify ceasefire violations from either side. Both the Congolese government and Rwanda-backed M23 rebels blame each other for continued fighting that has rocked eastern DRC in the past year.

After riding the youth vote to victory in presidential elections earlier this year, the PASTEF party is seeking a majority in Senegal’s November 17th parliamentary elections.

  • The film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone, a young adult fantasy series by Nigerian-American author Tomi Adeyemi, has put out its call for actors.
