Benin reopens exposition of recovered and contemporary national artwork. L’Expo Art du Bénin: de Hier et d’Aujourd’hui first opened between February and May of this year. The first half of the exhibition displays returned artefacts from France, including royal thrones, while the second showcases over 100 pieces of art from 34 Beninese artists. Dr. Dimie Ogoina, at the Niger Delta University in Bayelsa, Nigeria, observed some of the earliest cases in the current monkeypox epidemic.
