Mariem Hamdy is an MA student in Political Science at the University of Toronto specializing in international relations. Her current work focuses on armed conflicts and terrorism in Africa and the Middle East. Her aspiration for the future is to continue her work in the human rights and humanitarian field, either in government or non-governmental organizations.
