The Nigerian Labour Congress is in a face-off with Air Peace CEO Allen Onyema after the NLC’s May Day blockade of the Imo airport. Onyema argues that NLC has cost Nigeria hundreds of millions in revenue, while the NLC accuses him of denying his workers the right to unionize.

African leaders gathered in Nairobi for the Mo Ibrahim Foundation’s Governance Weekend to discuss cooperation and Africa’s position in global affairs.
